I wanted to build a database as a service (DAAS) product and it felt right to refer to it BDDB. I also hope using this site will help you Be Distinguished and get seen.
The "β" in the logo indicates that this website is currently in beta (testing) stage.
I don't think enough resources are out there to help write a CV, sure there are books, blogs, tips, tricks and templates. But from a tangible database-like resources perspective there is no other way to get a top level view of the requirements of the type of role you are interested in.
With a bit of spare time (450hrs!) on my hands during Decemmber 2023. I was determined to update my CV, apparently 2 pages is too long. Having been working for about 15 years, it was hard for me to decide which skills to highlight, or research for any relevant skill gaps I have to focus my training to.
When interacting with BDDB, you are working with the synthesis of about 18GB of csv files full of job descriptions. The content of these files have been kneaded and stretched in every possible direction through the wonders of NLP. Having gathered this content, I trained a dedicated algorithm to recognize requirements from the text that surrounds it. I then wrap this information up with qualitative data, relevant to each job (salary, keyword, seniority) and offer the result via a web app.
No, I am not. BDDB is built to help people get informed, so that they know:
Yes, and I want to be increasingly more open about the data it contains. If you would like to write queries against this database. Send them over (email), I would love to add the results to a future version of BDDB.
You can assume the below table for your mock queries.
Thanks & take care,
